The item upgrader adds a brand new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to buy upgrades.

Boosters

There are a variety of boosts you can get with an upgrader. These could include stats and additional bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to boost the abilities of the character, or can be added as an aspect of variety to the build.

The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to upgrade the quality of their gear by paying currencies at an item upgrader NPC. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was extended with the release of Warlords of Draenor. It is a convenient method to boost the level of your equipment, allowing you to bypass the monotonous grind of completing quests and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.

If an item is upgraded the type of item it is going to change. Upgrading a normal item creates an Exceptional item and upgrading an item that is Exceptional will result in an Elite version of the same base item. The item will be able to keep all of its prior upgrade statistics, but will also gain an additional bonus due to its new base type. This bonus will be randomly selected from the following categories: the chance to acquire weapons with a greater damage range, a chance to obtain an improved reload speed, or a chance to acquire an improved defense roll.

The amount of extras that you gain when upgrading depends on the number of upgrades completed. Each upgrade will increase the extras by three points maximum. Each upgrade will also boost the stats of the main game by +1.

Some upgrades also give you additional random boosts in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be extremely valuable and should be taken into consideration when choosing which items to upgrade. Some boosts are useful in specific builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others can provide a great deal of value to certain collectors.

Some items have a built-in boos that is not effective when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap has an extra potion slots. They are often upgraded to add more value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades have certain costs associated with them. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This cost depends on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).

The second is the price of the materials needed for an upgrade. The items used for upgrades are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials are available in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take up to 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other crucial stats. In certain cases an upgrade may grant additional benefits. These perks are offered in a list.

Rarely, the perks acquired will cost more than one perk slot In these cases the upgrade will replace the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, like changing its weapon damage type or adding or removing an unwieldy or operational property. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, such as Adamantine.

Success Rate

The process of upgrading an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system, there is a possibility that it won't work. There are a number of methods to increase your odds of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity or the addition additional materials to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item you can buy from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus some items have but is more stable. It can be added to any armor or weapon and can be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a number of additional elements to the upgrade, increasing its chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.

Another way to increase the odds of an upgrade succeeding is by using an item called the Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial when you own an item of gear that has reached the maximum level for its tier or is close to it. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of breaking.

If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be restored to its initial state. This is usually an upgrade, but it could also be an upgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you reach the maximum level of an item.

There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to boost the odds of an upgrade succeeding. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. In the same way, increasing the likelihood to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the chance of success.

Failure Rate

The item upgrader allows players to add a second card slot to their equipment. These slots can be utilized to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to remember that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank of the item is, the more Zeny items will be needed to upgrade it.

This system can be very expensive, especially for high-level gear. It could cost as high as 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade a weapon or armor. As you progress in rank, the chances of success diminish. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase the chances of completing an upgrade efficiently.

The upgrade window will show a percentage indicator of your chances of success. This percentage is based upon the level of upgrade and the core nature of the item you've selected.

You can also select a safeguard for your item, which will protect the item in case of failure. The cost of this protection may differ however it will always be less expensive than the cost of purchasing a new item. The protection can be used once each upgrade, and it will not expire until it is used again.

The interface for the  item upgrader  can be somewhat confusing, but it is not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left, and the upgrade window is displayed on the right. The arrows on the left of the UI indicate the various steps in the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to seek assistance if you're unsure what you're doing. The upgrade could take five minutes.
