Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Components

You can bind an upgrade template to an item by selecting it from the edition GUI. This will display the upgrade components to which the item can be upgraded. Each component is assigned an experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item can gain when upgraded using the component. For instance, the highest possible upgrade for a weapon is a weapon with tier 10. However, the most commonly used weapon upgrades are the tier 6 weapon and an armor upgrade of tier 5.
Sets
