World of Warcraft Upgrade Item Guide
The Upgrade item is a unique evolution item that trainers can use to transform Porygon into Porygon2. This transformation requires an upgrade as well as a Sinnoh Stone and 50 Porygon Candy.

Upgrade components
Upgrade components are things that can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide a bonus or extra effect when the equipment is utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, gotten as rewards, or made by crafting materials. In addition to providing bonus points Upgrade items also have cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are not generally available for general use and are only available on equipment that is ascended, or certain non-ascended weaponry from the Factions Campaign. Infusions, inscriptions and enrichments can be recovered from equipment by using an Infusion Extraction Device or saved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Phoenix Boxes unlike other upgrade items, can be exchanged and reused while still attached to the item that they are upgrading. These upgrade items are the best way to improve weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium, as they can increase the item's chance of receiving a high-quality upgrade by two times.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, but the old one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items with an identification level of zero or higher. Adding an upgrade to a weapon that is already equipped with a prefix or suffix upgrade will display the name of the resulting item as it would appear in the game (for example, adding the Radiant Insignia to Canthan Armor will cause it to be named Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). A player can own up to 3 upgrade items at any one time.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a useful accessory to any item as they can provide a variety of unique benefits and boosts. Some glyphs can also increase the number of affixes that can be placed on an item, thereby increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs are available through the dungeons and some even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It's important to remember that glyphs can only be used by characters who have created a root-dungeon of the same depth.
To use a Glyph you must first create it with components and then connect them via anchors. The component will then automatically align itself to other components or paths in the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph from components, you can build it using a combination of paths and anchors. Drag item upgrading near a highlighted component to snap it into place.
Certain glyphs require certain conditions to fulfill, for example having a minimum of 25 Dexterity in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Some require a specific number of Primary Stat nodes to be activated which is sometimes difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that grows with each level.
Glyphs are used for a wide variety of items, and can be added to all weapons except for the weapons of specific classes. Certain glyphs have conditional requirements for example, like having a certain amount of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific area on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph adds an 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has a chance of 15% to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a few glyphs that can be added to tools that are limited-use, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most commonly used glyphs in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are particularly useful for classes that employ weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph can make enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. They are discarded when the reroll occurs. Reroll tokens are obtained in several ways, including through raids, dungeons, and skirmishes. They can also be bought at the store or purchased from other players. They are particularly useful in dungeons and trials, since they allow players to reroll rewards from the bottom of the chest.
For items in the range of 1, there are values for recycling points. The upgrade gauge will increase by a certain amount of points each time you recycle an item. This number is determined by the rarity of the item and its level. Additionally the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling and the cost of recycling an upgraded item increases depending on its level.
It is also possible to use reroll tokens in order to make an item rerollable. However, this will not restore the item's original stats, or level. This is useful for players who want to reroll a piece of equipment they don't like but want to keep in their collection.
There are three kinds of upgrade tokens that are available in the game: reroll, random, and upgrade. Each type comes with its own subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires an item from the appropriate level to create the new item with that quality.
To use tokens that reroll choose "Reroll Token" by right-clicking the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Select the type of token you want to use. The tokens that are available are Item, Weapons, Misc, 1hguns, 2hguns, and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token will create a brand new weapon from the same faction.
The item could be upgraded to a new item that has the same stats but a higher level. This is likely to occur if the item been placed in the Non-Droppable Pool, or if it was transferred to it as part of a franchise card.
